Last Saturday we played our last show ever with Yvo on bass. A crazy sold out show was a nice way to close this chapter.
Dutch Export

Since we are known to tour a lot Buma Cultuur (the Dutch authors- and copyrights organization) mentioned us in their press bulletin announcing that the export of Dutch pop music was raised by 15% in 2008. Read the Dutch version and the English version.

Recording a New Album

A week after we get back from tour we will be entering the studio. It has been almost 2 years since we released our last full length album “Testimony”. We will record 12 new songs with Nico van Montfort at the Erock studio in Panningen. On the upcoming tour and shows we will play a lot of these songs to get them into shape. A release will follow later this year.

Tour with High Five Drive

We never promised to slow down. After we finish recording, mixing and mastering we will embark on another tour. Together with High Five Drive from Canada we will be playing shows in France, the UK and Belgium between April 25 and May 1. Routing to be announced soon. Get in touch if you feel like helping us out.

If you feel like the recession is over and your liquidity is increasing (what?!), please consider visiting our webshop to fund our upcoming recordings. In the next issue of your favorite newsletter you will find some news about our new release, and more new touring plans. We hope.

hey there all of you! survived your summer vacation? we did. and we have great news to announce, well yvo has: his son "jippe" got born on august 23, healthy and all! so we congratulate yvo and suzette and jippe, and wish them a happy and cosy family with the three of them. we're very curious whose musical talents jippe inherited! perhaps he screams louder than his father?

as for the band, we actually started writing and praticing new songs and they are working out quite alright, we think … someday they'll make it to a record. if you want to hear them, book us a show … we want to play them live ourselves as well! at that we have a new show to announce in charleroi, belgium for a small trip to belgium and france, check the shows. more t.b.a. soon.

we're pretty much running out on some t-shirt and sweater models, if you want to order check the merch-section.

if you want to combine listening our songs with songs from other bands, don't go to our purevolume or myspace sites but listen to blitzkriegpop at kink f.m. it appears there is a radio show willing to give us some airplay!

hopefully some more "important" news soon! to be continued. how you doin'?

besides; we've been selected for europunk.net's 'band of the month' poll. even though we don't see making music and spreading ideas as a competition or a popularity contest, we are honored with the nomination. (of course only losers dislike competitions … well, competition is for losers!) anyhow, if you want to make clear you like us by voting for us or want to support europunk.net by visiting their site, go to www.europunk.net.

and spring it was! we had such a great time out on the road again. we met a lot of old friends and made just as much new ones at that. we owe a lot to everyone that got us a show, some good food, drinks (some too much), a place to sleep and so much love and warmth when supporting our little band! thanks! but we can't thank people without mentioning these people: peter & angry youth records, pulce 'minchia' trash brigade, r.p. punkrock & total horror bookings, ashcan records, flo next friday, pascal and elisa in heaven, enrico sumo, gio memento mori and lena kunterbunt. paul and jerome from ash can records made pics of our gig in luxembourg. check em here. more pictures (bologna) coming soon.

after a lot of individual (and positive!) comments the first 'official' review is in, from asice.net. and a nice one it is! check it under our music section or here for the original version, comments and the possibility to make comments yourself at asice.net. an italian review is in as well, but we'll translate it in english before putting it online. last week our new album was 'c.d. of the week' at a french radio show called 'tous en tong' broadcasted by c'rock radio. here is the site of the radio station. here is the site of the punkrock community that does the radio show. a lot of thanks go out to them!

and of course we put up some more info on upcoming shows. which we are always looking for by the way! shows not info, duh.
